Modified Results

I had my first Modified race tonight. Kelly Shryock picked up the win in the 20 lap A-Main. Early in the race, Kelly and Kevin Larkins traded the lead every lap between lap 2 and lap 8. Denny Rosenberg started on the pole and led the first lap and then fell back a couple spots before making a late race charge to give Shryock a battle, coming up just short in 2nd. Dale Fischlein charged for 3rd followed by 4) David Murray, Jr, 5) Dave Farren, 6) Jordan Grabouski, 7) Kevin Larkins, Ron Jones, 9) Richie Gustin, 10) Bill Davis, 11) Rex Merritt, 12) Jack Mitchell, 13) Jimmy Gustin, 14) Wayne Larson, 15) Johnny Saathoff, 16) Joren Boyce, 17) Tim Ward, 18) Jerry Flippo, 19) John Logue, 20) Danny Wallace, 21) Corey Dripps, 22) Jeff Aikey, 23) Kenny Wallace, 24) Brian Mullen.
Rosenberg took the first heat win over Shryock, Saathoff, R. Gustin, Logue, J. Gustin, Larson and Aikey.
In the 2nd head, Fischlien held of Farren for the win followed by Davis, Merritt, Mullen Flippo, Boyce and D. Wallace.
Larkins showed the way in the 3rd heat followed by Murray, Jr, Jones, Grabouski, Mitchell, Ward, Dripps and K. Wallace.
